Hi everyone,
Is anyone interested in a tough 10k in July? Our club (Eccleshill Road Runners) are hosting the fifth running of the Thorpe Edge Festival 10K in Bradford on the 15th July. And although it is a bit of a toughie it’s a great day out with lots of entertainment after the race including live bands, dancers, rides, stalls, hog roast, and even a beer tent.

Sounds like a good day out but a bit far for me to travel for a 10k.
A bit of a quandry for the organisers I guess....you want good weather for the entertainment but cool weather for the run!

Thanks for the welcome, it’s a brilliant looking site.
Your right about the weather it's just the ticket if it rains lightly from 11 to 12.15 then for the sun to come out but it doesn’t always workout like that even though we get our order in early every year.
