Too late Trin, Steve's added another 10 miles to the total...
... But I'm sure nobody would object if you wanted to run along in your bikini...

... I'll just nip off to see where Steve's run has taken us...

Well, we're now three quarters of the way down the length of Lake Preston... And still on the beach.
Doesn't look like the scenery has changed at all in those ten miles. Looks pretty desolate; no towns to speak of, and very few roads, except for the seemingly ever-present Old Coast Road which never seems to be far away.


This seems to be what the terrain looks like along our route at the moment. Mile after mile after mile....

Incidentally, Lake Preston is about 17 miles long, but less than a mile wide, lying parallel to the coast.

I'd join you, but the route from Perth back to the European mainland is an utter arse!!. Jellyfish and the like and it ruins yer trainers.

Seriously though sounds like a great trip.
