I am looking for an ankle brace (being a fell runner and trying not roll my ankle on every run!) Does anyone know of any being better than others? Any thoughts on lace up style being better/worse than velcro or just neoprene support? Thanks,

Neoprene ones are strong and snug fitting.
Try to strengthen your ankles to help counteract the effects of the fell running.
You could go for a wobble board perhaps.

Neoprene ones are ok, though the aircast a60 in my opinion are very good. I had a broken ankle nearly 10yrs ago and it gives me a bit of grief (intense pain with a crunching sensation) on off road downhill sections. It seems to eliminate nearly all ankle roll. They are about 50 quid over here, but I managed to buy one off ebay from America including postage for 25 quid.
