One of the blokes in my club wears a bandana for that very reason.

I usually just wear sweatbands on my wrist and use them to wipe wipe the sweat off of my face before it goes into my eyes.

Unfortunately this is not an option if you wear glasses as you dislodge the glasses. Ideally we need a spray which stops sweating.

<thinks... does botox do that>

hi,

Thanks for the replies. I too have been out today looking for a wrist sweatband to wipe the sweat away before it touches the eyes. I couldn't believe it was so difficult too find one went too a number of sports shops and still went home empty handed.

Anyone know of a website where i could pick up a few cheap ones. Gotta try something whilst running effectively blind can be fun but does have its draw backs! Damn Cowpats!

Going to have to get a wrist band myself, went for a run this morning in the rain and my eyes where red roar after 10 minutes through rubbing them

I haven't tried this myself, but I've heard of people using vaseline on their eyebrows, which I imagine diverts the sweat away from the eyes and down the side of the face? Maybe worth a try? I don't know.

You could wear fake eyebrows. I'm sure you could get some from a Groucho Marx fancy dress shop :P That would work.

I'd second the vaseline idea personally (just don't forget it's there.. probably not very nice if you smear it all over your face in a moment of forgetfulness!

I just use my tee shirt's sleeves to wipe my face as I run...or my arm if I'm in a vest!
