Don't worry JB if you don't get that - it's an Alan Partridge reference
I'm glad it all went so well for you.

Classic episode Rob
Thanks for your support and suggestions guys. I won't be doing anything running related with her, as I don't think she is a runner. More a hill walker and climber. Although she would probably make a good runner. She is tall and slender. We'll see If it's a nice day I may suggest a trip to the beach. Or I'll find something interesting going on in Edinburgh.

You could take her up the Royal Mile JB then go down to the Palace then show her the sights of the Hill. Then a quick lap of the gardens.
If she is still keen down Rose Street get her plastered back to yours. Job done!!

Online dating sites (especially the bigger, better known ones) really aren't as scary as you think they might be. As long as you aren't completely socially inept, you are likely to meet some nice ladies. And at least you kind of know already that they basically like you, otherwise they wouldn't want to meet you

That reminds me of my first 'date' when I younger. We got absolutely leathered on Strongbow and ended up back at her flat that looked like a bomb had hit it. lol. We enjoyed a squalid, post-coital fried egg sandwich afterwards and she had no milk in so she made me a cup of Slimfast instead. Due to my lack of carnal knowledge at that time, I'm almost certain she spent more time frying the egg than I spent on her! We spent the rest of the evening arguing with REM's latest album playing in the background. It all seemed so romantic at the time. I'm laughing my head off here just remembering.
Anybody got any other stories to tell?
