I use wrightsock double layer anti-blister sock.

I don`t know if I`m just lucky or if it is the socks that make the difference.

I had a nagging, large blister on the inside of my right heel just after I bought some new running shoes which were otherwise comfy. I think it was from just wearing regular socks which allowed feet to slip about. I was also cautious about over-tightening my laces too, as that can bruise the top part of your foot if the pressure is too much when running, so that probably added to the problem. I bought some running socks recently from Aldi for £1.99 and they've allowed my feet to stay put and not slide about and also to tie my laces snugly without too much tightness. Running socks do make all the difference for me.

Thank you everyone. Got some Compeed today and the plasters are quite fantastic; was able to run with no discomfort. have also got some decent socks so, hopefully, I should minimise problems in future. I guess problems occur in part when, as is often the case, our feet vary in size slightly; my right foot feels completely snug and comfortable with no suspicion of a blister, unlike the left.
