Cold Baths :(

I have been doing a run/walk Mond,Wednesday and Friday for 2 weeks now. On my rest days I ache I limp about and its annoying. So I decided to try a cold bath on monday morning after my run. Well I tried ice clod srait out the tap and I couldn't do it I steped in and out again. So i took the edge off it with some hot it was unpleasant but bearable. Oh and if it has only gone and worked :/ so no more aches but now I have to look forward to a cold bath after every run

i usually have a hot shower then grab the shower head (no pun intended) and spray freezing cold water over my leg muscles, seems to take edge off of it.

Just hot baths and plenty of stretching for me.

I'm too wimpish to attempt a cold bath!

Did cold shower head on my calves for a while but I find some regular stretching throughout the day has a better effect (and is far easier to take!)
