Hi all, I'm new to this forum and have just started my running career by running to work and back each day. It's only a mile or so each way, but I've never really tried running as a form of exercise before so it's a start.
I have to carry my work clothes to and from work so I bought myself an OMM backpack on recommendation. The pack is great, but I only have bog-standard T-shirts to run in and no matter how tight I do up the pack straps the bottom of my T-shirt rides up at the back after a few minutes. The result is that the pack has rubbed a sore patch onto the base of my spine.
Does anyone have any advice on how to prevent this from happening? Do I need a specialist type of running shirt?
I wear a Nike active training top, they are quite expensive i suppose at around £20 but they are skin tight and you would never know you had it on, lovely and airey too.
Thanks for the advice folks. I think I will go out and try out a few proper running vests then.
My sack is an OMM pack and the advice they gave me was to get a proper shirt and shorts - and to put more bricks in it, lol!
