navman
My Navman has not come out of the drawer for a long time, hence I have forgotten which one it is ( the blue one).
It was an expensive mistake, at least for me.
1. Unreliable; it has a tendency to switch off and ignore sections of the route if you go under bridges, trees or past high buildings, and hence under-records distance. Hence useless for my canal-side urban routes.
2. Not very robust; the first one stopped working after minor injury; fortunately replaced by dealer.
3. Uncontactable technical support fron navman
A simple pedometer, once accurately calibrated to your running stride length, is suprisingly accurate and a lot cheaper, and less of a worry re theft/damage/loss.
