Don't be put off by your pace.........a good club should cater for everyone.

I figure I'm slow, but at least I can cover the distance. Anyway - I have had a look to see what running clubs are in Shef and have speed nights, but I'm confused. The website I looked at had WAY too much info for me to take in, so I might have another looksy when I have time to take it all in.

Most running clubs have various groups to cater to all standards, so I'm sure you'll run with a group at the same level as you, so you wouldn't be at the back. You seem to run a lot so I'm sure you are a lot better than you think you are. I mean what kind of times are you running?

Having said that, I considered joining a club, but just never got round to it. I would like to join one that runs on a weekend, because I really don't want to do club running on weekdays as I often have other stuff to do and prefer to just go out on own when I have a spare hour. But most of the local clubs I've looked at run on weekdays. I also don't know how I'd find running in a group without my ipod. I am so used to solo running. Just me and my music. It's what I'm used to.
