See I'm not the only one who like clean trainers, although I wouldn't say mine smell devine. Good to hear you can still do something ok.

Liz3yy, well done for getting out there! Doesn't matter what the distance was.

Noooooooooo trainers should be dirty, going out in the rain and mud then coming home letting them dry out and then banging the mud off them when it's dry. Nothing better

you will find the weather effects performance so easily..

the worst ive jogged in is a blizzard / sleet... man its painful and the sense of acheivement is actually getting back inside in the warmth more than the fact you just did 3 odd miles lol

depending on the heaviness the max i ever put on extra is gloves lol. But a jumper in snowy conditions.

Have to say, that I really really enjoyed running in the rain, found it altogether much nicer to do (except for the subsequent Sudacrem requirement from wet t-shirt injuries!!).

Wonder if I'll still feel the same when its not only wet but cold and dark too ?

I enjoy running in the rain, it can be a bit unpleasant to start with, but once I start to get warm it's nice to have a constant supply of cooling water falling on my head! Have not worn any special clothing so far.

Can't remember if I've replied to this thread... or if it was a thread a while back

Regardless, I love running in the rain (as long as I'm not freezing cold too)... any adverse weather conditions seems to completely change a run, you can run the same route, but if it's tipping it down with rain it's like running in a completely different place!

I also seem to race better in bad conditions
