I've been out of action all weekend and have been eating quite a bit more than usual, this has resulted in a pretty crap run tonight. I didnt even manage a mile without stopping and had to stop every few minutes to walk. I managed two miles in 26 minutes of walking/jogging and am knackered now, hopefully I'll get into the swing of things again soon.

I'm back to my pre-running weight and am on a mission now to sort myself out and lose the excess 3 stone I'm carrying around, my belly was wobbling this evening which wasnt a pleasant sensation!

Starting weight - 11,1
Target weight - 8,1
Todays food - 2 x weetabix and yoghurt, chicken and stuffing sandwich, 2 x fat free yoghurts, salmon fillet with salad and mixed veg salsa.

I was flying tonight. For some reason I found my stride pattern lengthen and was actually running instead of jogging for a change. I suffered for the increase in pace though as I only managed a mile. Getting quicker though, I shaved a whole 1 minute off my usual time.

This was meant to be a regular jog but having my partner with me spurred me into trying some interval work to try and catch him as he sped into the distance!

I managed to jog/run/sprint about a mile before my bursting lungs said "you having a laugh?!"

Had brilliant fun tonight! My OH came out with me and spurred me on to run faster than usual, so much so that I shaved 30 seconds off my usual time for 1 mile. We then had a little race back to see who could go the furthest and I'm glad to say that I won!

0.65m - 6m 30s roughly

Feel great now!

Go Lizzie! lol I managed a PB tonight, I ran 1.5 miles in 16mins 30 secs, I would have gone on for longer but I got a stitch which wouldnt go away.

I went out tonight not knowing if I'd be able to jog seeing as my thigh is still playing up, I walked for a mile then jogged for a mile before walking home. My injury didnt seem to affect my speed, I managed a mile in about 11 minutes which is about average for me at the moment
