Another session where I held back for the first leg then got a bit faster on the way back.

Was very hungry and thirsty when I went out but I did it nonetheless! No stitches, work up again I guess.

How I Felt OK Weather Fair
Type Of Session Running - Jog Route Cottenham 7.5
Surface Trail Duration 1h 19m 37s
Distance 7.5 Miles
After my horrific run on Friday which I didn't even document here I decided to go out tonight and do better. I'd eaten a little more during the day and tried not to eat or drink anything after lunch time.

Well, I went out as slowly as I could, I kept pulling myself back every time my feet wanted to go faster. I was barely more than walking and was overtaken by one guy who was running. There was hardly another soul on the route which was great. When I got near the half way point I just wanted to keep on going but I knew I had to turn round and do the journey again! I turned round and picked up pace, but at that time I hadn't had a stitch yet.

Once I got back to the halfway point of the Cottenham 3.5k route (so about a mile and a half) I felt like I was flying! I was really happy with my pace and I seemed to feel okay with it. Something was different today (I think it was mental) but my body seemed to be aligned better and my legs just kept going, it was FABULOUS!

I don't care how long it took me tonight, cause it felt good!!!

Personal Best!!!! 59.05. Had to walk twice because I seem to be getting stitches whenever I go out these days, but I did it in 59.05! If I can get it down to 55m I will enter a race!!
