Back in Blighty for a long weekend and running 7 miles at this pace seemed easier than 5 miles at slower pace in Geneva. I think its a combination of regaining some lost fitness - but moreso, the difference in heat and humidity.

Well its been long enough - I've given my calf almost a full month to heal, however in that month I have been on a month-long bender, with lots of drinking and nights out squeezed in before I left for Geneva.
Suffice to say I probably lost more fitness than you'd expect for that sort of lay-off. So I'll try to build it up slowly again and hopefully stay injury free.
