Long marathon training run along Kennet & Avon canal. Caught the train to Newbury and ran back to reading. Found the first 10 miles dragged a bit and was finding it hard but after 10 not so bad and after 15 we did a mixture of run 2 mins walk 1 min the switched round walk 2 mins run 1 min. I did struggle a bit as energy drink didnt agree with me, felt like I was running after drinking fizzy pop so need to look at that for the next one!

Wycombe Half Marathon - Had heard that this was a pretty tough course, and chance of a PB was very slim and can normally expect to add 4 or 5 mins on to PB. The race starts and 1/4 mile in there is a massive hill which actually reduces people to walk and tires you out before you even start but we managed to run all the way to the top. This is then followed by lots of undulations. Had a very good race felt really strong from the start. PB'd by 4.5 mins

Thames 10K (Garmin read 6.3 miles) - A lovely run along the Thames and through Beale Wildlife Park, a mixture of trail paths and fields with long grass, a 2 lap course, very strong headwind at times and tough running on the longer grass, ground quite uneven in places. Quite happy with time considering the start was quite congested and didnt start to thin out until at least 1K in to the race so got held up a bit!
