How I Felt OK Weather Fair

got on the bike intending to do half hour or so but got on the grand union canal stuck the ipod on and didnt stop. my legs pedalled away with me. rode the ten or so miles stopped in a park for a stretch then cycled back. weather was balmy so heat wasnt sapping energy.

bought a bicycle for rest days in order to keep up the cv workouts i feel im lagging if i dont do at least some training everyday. felt good afterwards and didnt ache the next morning.

After a rest day and a pissup the night before went for normal 2 mile run to sweat off the hangover, turned out i performed better than i ever had before managed the 2 miles without slowing or stopping once and when home, felt i could do another mile at least. Endurance definately coming along nicely.

First session running off road toady and it was brilliant. so much more to occupy my brain. felt like i had more to give afterwards but my legs are letting me down in terms of strength. Must up the strength excercises on my lower body.

walked the 4 miles to try and stretch out my calves and achilles tendon a bit as i was hurting from the previous days antics. tommoro will be a total rest day with some stretching and core work.

First long run since starting up running, was very doubtful i could make it at the pace i was keeping but well chuffed when i arrived at the end. wasnt fully recovered from the previous days session but will have a day or so resting and attempt again hopefully with a better result.
