Well I was tired today after getting up at 5.45am but I went out and actually nearly doubled my previously longest run.
It was a kinda ad hoc route that i measured later to be the 3.42 km so I was actually well chuffed. Took 18 mins ish and I kinda now feel like I'm actually getting somewhere with this whole running lark.

Well got back from NYC yesterday and decided to get straight back into it. Went to the gym about 4 and then running about 8.45.
Felt a bit rough to start with, the first 1k was tough but got easier after that, enjoyed the run.

Well I totally cocked my route up today! Meant to do the 2k estate route but just went all over!
Felt tired and had to walk for 2 mins or so but it was cos of the great long, steep hill that I hadn't planned!

Not bad today, had the communal iPod on (private joke there!) so that was a nice distraction. Did the 1k route in reverse, went straight down the main road and back up the side one today, broke it up a bit.
As for my body, well I've already been for a chest sesh at the gym so I guess my energy was kinda gone which probably accounts for why I felt like I couldn't be arsed going out. I'm glad I did though cos it's a nice crisp evening and I felt decent when I was running. Got back and I was outta breath but not really as bad as I thought I would be.
Seems to be going ok, I'm actually enjoying the running which I never thought I would.

Felt a bit tired before I started, not really eaten like I should've, must get to Asda!
Happy with the run though, only a 1k and only took 5 mins but I'm feeling good about actually going out there and knowing I can build up slowly without having to instantly run for 30 mins.
Looking forward to tomoro's jaunt.

First run kinda ever. The estate is a tad hilly but nothing to serious I wouldn't have thought (nothing really to compare it to!).
I felt ok actually, my legs were aching and are feeling a tad tired now (18:50) but overall I thought I did ok. My cardio system seemed ok, felt tired obviously but nothing too bad.
Going to try and get out again tomorrow then hopefully when I start back at work I'll be heading out at around 6am every morning. That'll be a tester, hopefully I'll keep it up.
I'll go for the 2k after about a week of the 1k I hope, I'm really a bit unsure as to when to extend, but I guess it's when I can comfortably do the 1k.
