Occasional rain.

After last night's 7ºC and constant cold hands I wore gloves tonight (10ºC).
Felt better.
Legs still a bit tired and felt the knee all the way. Not exactly painful though.

Short Fartlek. 13mins warm-up and then efforts between 380m and 470m.
In the end did 1km aiming for sub 3:25 (first half downhill). Did that one in 3:19 and not going all out.

Longest run for 20 days! The knee seems to be at around 90% and not getting worse. Good news

At last I managed to do a quality session!
Decided to give it a go at a Fartlek. Kept it short (the fast part was 5.4km) and, apart from the last effort of 600m all the others were under 250m.
I felt good and the knee didn't hurt. Some discomfort later but nothing to worry about

Ran with a bandage around the lower part of the knee and it wasn't bad. Just a bit tender.

Progressively faster and then, around 4.6km I met an old "running acquaintance" and we ran together. The pace dropped and the knee started to complain.
I ran with him for just over 1km and then accelerated again but the discomfort persisted.
40secs from home I felt a sharp pain in the knee...

Limped slightly all day after that.

I'm a bit worried...

Test. Easy first 600m and then progressively faster to see how the knee reacted.
A lot of discomfort for the first 2km and still feeling it until the end.
Afterwards? No complaints!
Let's see how it will be tomorrow. I hope to be able to resume normal training in the next couple of days

Very hilly.

Left home just before sunset and, later in the run, had visibility problems in the forest.
I didn't take it too easy and ran well on the hills and in the last third of the session.
Yesterday's session was very present in my legs but I think I recovered decently.

Hard work at times but managed not to get too carried away.

Recovery avg: 68.5

Emotionally tough days... I skipped the planned fast session in the morning. Happy to do "something fast" today. Great last rep and good average.
