Damn! Run going OK until just before 7K when I stumbled and when adjusting my stride to prevent a fall I felt a slight pull/tear in my right calf muscle. Bugger! Stopped straight away and walked the rest of the way (just half a mile thankfully). Still feeling it this morning so reckon I'll be 'out' for a few days, maybe even a week. Was looking forward to a good week with lots of miles too.

After being really lazy at the weekend and not running at all (since Thursday last week in fact) was back out for the usual 5K morning run today. Took it easy for the most part and only felt a wee bit of stiffness/strain on my legs towards the end of the run. Quite pleased to have so little feel wrong after a prolonged time without running. Gonna do over 10K easy run on the treadmill tonight as I need to get a good full program in this week to make up for last weeks non-activity.

Decent run - no aches and pains - kept a nice steady(ish) pace.
