Finally I have cracked the 1/2 marathon distance. I paced the run perfectly to get the distance.

At mile 5 and 8 I walked whilst I took a swig of Lime Juice and then a quick stretch before carrying on.

At mile 9 my right calf started to hurt and although it got no worse it stayed with me until mile 12 when it mysteriously disappeared

A hard first 1/2 mile up hill followed by a very fast down. I paid for it and had to cut the run short at 5 miles, but am still happy with it.
