Practiced pace for VLM - tried to stick at around 9.30 mins per mile but ended up going a bit faster. Felt great - felt I could have gone on much longer but supposed to be tapering so daren't do any more miles. Well, nice to finish last LSR before marathon a good note.

Struggled to keep up with my husband but was determined to after pathetic run this am. Can't understand why it all feels so hard at the moment. Used to regularly run 10k in around 52 minutes. Oh well, bring on the taper.
