Ran up to Pendavey farm than back along trail via road and back to J's house. Temperature the wrong side of hot, legs the wrong side of tired. Garmin wouldn't start at first - 10.36 pace for most of the route - not too bad considering hill.

Scorchio! Ran up to Burlawn x roads then to Grogley and back down trail via usual route. Footpath up to Washaway v overgrown so ran up to Pendavey Farm via the road & then to Polmorla/St Breock to make up the distance.
From half way point onwards really really struggled in the heat.

Really happy with that - felt fine most of the way. (Struggled a bit on last mile but nothing like as bad as on the 16 miler the other week.)

Incl 10 x 2 mins fast 2 recovery - as intervals go quite enjoyed it - most fast bits around 8.41 to 8.45 pace.
(Couldn't get a signal on my Garmin to start with again - so total time is guesstimated but did 5.8 miles in 56.36 - average pace 9.46 )
