Time a bit slow but ran in reverse which I think makes it slower due to long stretch up Pendavey Hill. Also footpath extremely muddy. Feeling loads better than on recent LSRs (although was struggling a bit towards the end).

First attempt at anything vaguely resembling a hill session for goodness knows how long.

Ran down Molesworth St, to Egloshayle, round pub (shortest way), over main bridge, then hill reps from Lidls bus stop to start of church (ending at the lamppost).
Not a very steep hill - the aim was for a continuous (ish) effort 3 x fast up as, down twice, then straight home on the final one.
Time: 55.06, 51,33. 55.65
Min/mile pace: 10.07, 9.32, 10.04.

This was really just a practice go to suss out the hill and the best way of warming up - (what I did was probably a bit too long at 27 minutes). Aim for next time - shorter warm up plus 2 lots of the above.

Was feeling a bit tired at the start (although not too bad on the hills) so quite happy with what I did today as a starting point!

Average pace 10.36 but was going quite fast on the flat bits - went a bit further than I was expecting as well so happy with that.

Two miles warm up running towards Polbrock - 10.32 + 11.02 (2nd one included approx 1 mins walk). Walked on a bit then fast mile back in 8.19! V happy with that as legs quite achy from dvd yesterday - nearly gave up towards the end!
Short walk after this (not included in total mileage), then jogged home (12.20 pace)

(9.46 to West Park roundabout, 10.40 to start of path, 9.23 to roundabout, 10.46 to home.)
In new shoes (Saucony Kinvara) - love them to bits but am a bit worried they will wear really quickly.
Feeling loads better than on Tuesday.

Oh dear! Legs felt a bit tired but this was much more of a struggle than I felt it should have been. 11 min miling. - Possibly overdid things a bit last week.

Ran back from Bodmin (from top of Sainsbury's car park via Pendavey Farm).
Legs v achy at start, got better as I went along then started to flag towards the end - Pendavey Hill was a real struggle!
Really pleased with pace for the first 4 miles - 9.25, 9.11, 9.51 9.46 but then realised it is slightly downhill!
Overall though quite a satisfactory run.

Quite happy with that.
