Felt heavy legged to begin with but settled down at about mile 3 to start to enjoy 12 mile run.

I then did something to my knee. Unsure if it was a twist or when I landed but it was agony and couldn't run a step further.

Now very worried how quick I can get it recovered sufficiently.

Out with wee brother who struggled both with knee trouble early one and with stamina.
Ended up slowing to stay with him but he only lasted 6 miles so ran last 2 on own which allowed faster pace.

Overall though was a nice enjoyable easy 8 mile run which is something I wouldn't have said a few months ago let alone a year ago!!

Felt awful in terms of body aches and pains, felt fine energy wise.
Plan was 20 - 22 miles but had to stop at 13 as knees were sore, right one in particular.

But, I'm back baby - foot was absolutely fine. Had bit of pain from below left knee but subsided towards end of run.
