Training Session Monday 28th April 2008, 13:00
How I Felt OK Weather Warm
Type Of Session Running - Jog Route Parkers Piece
Surface Grass Duration 26m 00s
Distance 2.8 Miles (Approx)
Did 4 laps of Parkers Piece - annoyingly I thought 4 laps would take me to just over 3m, but turns out each lap is only 0.7m

Was a bit tough as I'd have a long break and spent the whole of yesterday eating, but onwards and upwards!

Training Session Tuesday 22nd April 2008, 14:00
How I Felt Terrible Weather Hot And Sunny
Type Of Session Running - Jog Route Flitch Way - 6m
Surface Trail Duration 40m 00s
Distance 6.4 Miles (Approx)
Had got back from Skeggy the day before, and for some reason I was more knackered than when I was there! I'd already had a rest for 4 days, so I thought it would be better to go out and do something, rather than nothing at all.

Was jogging with Nic riding beside me, we were going at a VERY slow pace because I didn't want to knacker myself out. It was roastingly hot though, I think maybe it's time to get some shorts (nooooooo!).

Managed to do the 2 miles there okay even with the one or two short hills, but decided to have a few walking minutes on the way back. Disappointed, but considering the weekend I'd had it wasn't too bad

EDIT - 29/04/08

I was p1ssed at my performance on this day, so I checked on gmap-pedometer and it turns out it was 6 miles in all! I don't feel quite as bad!

Training Session Thursday 17th April 2008, 18:00
How I Felt Tired Weather Warm
Type Of Session Running - Hill Work Route Cottenham 10k
Surface Mixed Duration 1h 01m 00s
Distance 6 Miles (Approx)
Did the same route I did on Tuesday with Nic. Started off a bit quicker and wore myself out! Didn't have half as much water as I normally drink during the day, and boy could I tell!

Had to stop twice for stitches. I actually walked, instead of running through it, and I actually saw the benefits of that. Afterwards I was able to run further.

Holiday now, but will run again on Monday (or Tuesday!)

Training Session Tuesday 15th April 2008, 19:00
How I Felt OK Weather Raining
Type Of Session Running - Jog Route Cottenham 10k
Surface Trail Duration 1h 10m 00s
Distance 6 Miles (Approx)
Jogging along with Nic riding with me on the bike. Little conversation. Absolutely tipped it down, but managed to do the whole 6 miles without stopping! Off road was difficult because of the muddy track!

Training Session Sunday 13th April 2008, 16:00
How I Felt OK Weather Fair
Type Of Session Running - Jog Route
Surface Mixed Duration 35m 00s
Distance 4 Miles (Approx)
My Sunday run after a weekend away, had to really make myself go out!

The surface was mixed, but the trail section was really tough as it was VERY muddy and in parts there was no way around the craters! It started raining, but that was nice! When I got to the road bit I had to knock about a stone in weight of mud off my shoes!

Glad I did it though, another star on the chart
