Out in 42.12 and return in 41.42.
Very humid run but recovered well from last evening speed work.

Felt much better today,a glorious Aussie summer day at 23C,cool wind and wide blue skies.The claudication has no pain effect in short faster work,only in extended distance runs.

Still not fully recovered fro last Saturday race.

Race at 7.45AM start.First 800m and last 600m on soft deep sand beach.The rest a mix of soft grass and dirt paths,bike tracks and very hilly.Found it very hard,but satisfying. Ran an even pace as far as could on out and back course and finished strong.

200m Vets Club Champs 1st M75-79 in 43.74s( a long way off my 39.8s record)

2.4Km track race in 15m31s. Managed to beat one young lady.

PM: Warmed up more to 28C and sunny.Did fartlek session on bush trails,9Km in 70.08,my best on the course since doing this session there.Out in 35.16 and return in 34.52

A nice warmish but dull morning.Jogged about 5.6Km with mates then session of
4x100m strides(100m wr) in 23-26s followed by
12x200m(2mins WR) in 57-61s(last one in 48s) run as first section of mates longer intervals(800m-400m).
Felt good.
