A road race along the Hunter River pathways and Maitland City centre.Course hillier than expected but ran an even race throughout and was able to pick up a few runners in the second lap.Surprised myself by outsprinting a young lady who I had battled for some Kms.
All on track for my 10Km goal race at Gold Coast in late June.

After two days with back pains and chest colds ventured out again on a steady WALK.
Will have to go easy this next week as a race due next Sunday.
On a happier note,my 52yr old daughter ran a 2h31m half marathon race today onvery little training.Through 10Km in 64m+ then faded as expected.Still means that she should hammer me in our next 190Km race in six weeks or so.

Two sessions and feeling very flat and tired still from weekend.
AM: A 6km steady walk/jog at Lake front.
PM:At NAF track meet.
Warm up with strides then 2.4Km hard in 16.57, legs sore and felt very tired.
5 minutes rest then 600m in 3.11. Absolutely stuffed.
