Felt really bad without stomach pains, so had a couple of walking stints - I've taken those off the time and the 0.14 miles off the total distance and the runs stats don't look toooo bad... Still a fair way off full fitness but hey - HR is coming down a little.

An interesting run to say teh least... across fields, through foresty bits, through overgrown trails... various stops along the way to negiotiate obstacles and fences which bought the avg pace down but it also gave a much needed rest and a chance for the HR to drop a little.

Bugger me this was a hard one! First time out with the club in a fair while... miles 2-5 were done at around 90% of Max HR :eek: But I was still only managing 6:45-7:00 min/mi No denying I've lost fitness during my time off. A little gutted to be honest - especially comparing this run to say the 10.5miler I did on 1st May (6:37/mi & 159bpm avg's). Ah well... it'll come back eventually!

Awesome run... managed faster than 1/2mara race pace including multiple stops to cross fences/styles, and also running on very sludgy ground for a good 5 miles or so - I managed probably 2.5 miles of it at around 5:50pace! (6.5mi - 9mi) really impressed myself.
