How I Felt Bad Weather Raining

Argh... what a nightmare this was! It was all set to be a lovely run across fields and along bridleways to 'Burton Dassett' for a bit of a jog up some extremely steep hills.
Well it soon became apparent that virtually every field and bridleway was either flooded or full of that really sticky type mud - so it was like running with a bag of sugar strapped to each ankle for half of it - or wading through ankle deep watery puddles.

Add that onto a big "DO NOT ENTER - PRIVATE PROPERTY - TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED" sign which completely scuppered my route, and me slipping whilst climbing over a style and impaling the the back of my upper leg on a fence post - it was a fairly disastrous (and slow) run.

Oh, and now my shin in killing me - wondering if I might have to force a rest day tomorrow or fri.

Tried to push quite hard tonight, though after a slow mile to start and gradually picking up the pace, a little before halfway I turned a corner was coming back towards home into a strong wind - coupled with a few climbs my pace got slower and slower
