How I Felt Good Weather Cold
Type Of Session Running - Speed Work Route Old Brunel Railway
Surface Trail Duration 20m 14s
Distance 3 Miles
Tried to jazz up the same old route by upping my pace and giving it a good do. I managed to break the 7-minute mile barrier which I'm quite pleased with. Averaged a 6:45 mile for probably the first time ever ha! Shins are a bit achey but I've been doing more running than I'm used to. Surely that can only be a good thing! Still toying with the idea of a 10-mile run this weekend but will have to slot it around work. We'll see!

How I Felt Tired Weather Windy
Type Of Session Running - Hill Work Route Targate Road Circuit
Surface Road Duration 40m 29s
Distance 5.13 Miles
Pleased with my time there considering the conditions! I've never felt my quads burn like that before though, almost stopped me in my tracks... Might attempt 10 miles this weekend if I have the time. Why not?

How I Felt Heavy Legged Weather Raining
Type Of Session Running - Regular Run Route Old Brunel Railway
Surface Trail Duration 21m 30s
Distance 3 Miles
Bit quicker than usual for my regular 3-miler. I really felt the cans that I couldn't resist cracking open the night before. Oh well, I've got the rest of the week to be good :-)

How I Felt OK Weather Raining
Type Of Session Running - Hill Work Route Freystrop road
Surface Road Duration 1h 05m 00s
Distance 7.75 Miles
I ran into work today. I felt alright, though I'm not really one for running in the morning. Very hilly 7.5 miles so not a great time but a good workout! Will take it easy for the next few days and have another big run next Sunday. Good stuff.

Set off a bit quick today - was eager to get a few miles done before it went dark! Rest day tomorrow before a big run on Sunday. Looking foward to it :-)

How I Felt Heavy Legged Weather Cold
Type Of Session Running - Easy Run Route Old Brunel Railway
Surface Trail Duration 25m 00s

Really heavy-legged and quite frustrating! Another easy run tomorrow then a day of carb-loading before a 7.5 mile run on Sunday I think. Eek.

Thought I'd step it up today. Felt good. I think the hill work makes the flat/downhill parts of the course feel like a warm down to be honest! I wasn't gasping for breath when I got home anyway. I'll do another one of this route this weekend, I think.

Same run as yesterday. Much better today, sprinted like hell for the last 50 yards or so, too!

Time to start training properly. This one was pretty tough because I'd left it so long after Christmas and new year. Wasn't too bad considering my general laziness of late.
