Easy run.
Mile 1 was tough and I couldn't get into the swing of things. Really struggled with the first hill and as such, my first split was way off target.
The rest of the run went well and felt comfortable. The pain in the achilles was not too bad, but the calf felf tight from time to time.

First run in over two weeks, after injury.
Felt comfortable for the first couple of miles.
Mile 3 was into a headwind which really sapped my energy, but going into mile 4, I managed to recover and felt comfortable at the end of the run.
Achillies is a bit sore, but hopefully nothing too serious. Taken ibruprofen gel and going to ice it tonight.

The first mile was supposed to be warm-up, but in the last .25 miles of the split, my pace suddenly shot up without me actually increasing my pace.
The second mile seemed very hard to get my pace down to 8:18, despite feeling that I was running much faster. Maybe something to do with the Garmin?
Third mile had a long climb in it, so was slightly slower than target pace.
Fourth mile was flat or downhill, so I picked up the pace to compensate for the slower third mile.
Fifth mile was a warm-down.
