Easy, slow start and then picked up pace to end up doing a steady, overall 4m treadmill run.
Followed up with 15mins on cross trainer.

Ran to LRR start point with TM. Waited for rest of gang and then set off on normal winter route. TM began to struggle so I ran with her at an easy pace and we cut short the planned route though still did 6.92m per mapmyrun.
Back, shoulders and neck a bit sore after earlier prang in car but not too bad.

Long run on treadmill of 18m split into 3 6m reps with drink breaks. Quite boring but needed to do exact distance and weather rough first thing.
Quite slow but legs ok afterwards...cold shower possibly helped recovery.

Started with a warm up run wth TM of about 2m. Then waited for others to arrive....stretched...and then set off on Hall Rd reps..3 for each of the 6 hills. Didn't push up the hills very hard...only a middling effort really.
Rained throughout!

Short recovery run of 2m followed by shorter session of 2k on cross trainer.
Thighs sore and felt slight right groin soreness too...bit worrying!

Started slow due to numbers in the race and problems getting past slower runners. Picked up pace and went well through to 11k. Started to feel right groin so slowed but then picked up again for next 4k. Pace then started to get to me having not trained well at pace for some time. Time just 36 secs slower than last year so pleased with that.

Legs tired after race but no injury problems so good news all round.

Slowish run to start of speed session and then a good workout along prom. Windy on prom so workout made that bit harder which was good.
About 9.5m in total but done as a stop start effort.
Pleased with speed work as groin didn't cause any problem.
Resting now until Sunday's race.

Long run plans altered due to heavy rain andan early call from running partner deciding not to run. Felt better when I got up but was pleased to receive the call as wasn't sure how I'd be once I was out running.
Decided to put runback and hour or so and to go the gym again.
16.25m on treadmill with a stop after 9m for a stretch. Very hot ! Wanted to do 17m but just couldn't find the energy to push that extra 3/4 m....not concerned though as doing 17m would have broken 10% rule!!

Nasty blood blister under big toe on left foot..was sore for the rest of the day.

Got up with stiff neck and a headache and felt unwell.
Went to the gym and did a very tiring 4m treadmill effort.

An 8.9m run in 3 stages..first and last at steady pace and middle at an easy pace.
Fairly cool tonight but not as bad as I thought it might be.
No injuries to report due the fact that this was another easy run and therefore no strain put on right groin.
Physio tomorrow!

Easy run to/from LRR winter route with TM. About 9min miling over 8.9m. Cold night didn't stop 2 lots of idiot youths/kids getting in our way!
No injury worries at this distance or pace.

BSE cross country. Right groin very sore. Was going backwards from end of first lap(of 2).Very slippery conditions didn't help...nor did the 15miler yesterday I guess!
About 5.5m so reasonable time in circs. Finished in worst position of the series!(92nd)
