Knew before starting I'd not recovered form last week ..and so it proved. 
Had planned a 29m run ...now can see that was ambitious for me after 27m last week.
Legs just too sore...last weeks blisters played up and I started to feel achilles pain in my left leg...new to me that so a bit of a worry.
Had to walk home for 20mins.....never like doing that but I think it was the sensible thing to do.
Good thing was that the start of the run saw the 4 LRR members who are doing L2B running together...T-Shirts are ordered so we'll be wearing them as part on long runs in the summer...if we get one this year!

A bit of a struggle!
Left quad tight and painful throughout ...but I did manage a good pace around the winter route after a slow jog to the sports centre.
Left hip very sore all night.

7.78m tready to start with and then out into the wild with SWMBO to the sports centre and then she did first mile or so of the Smiths route with me and 4 other club members.
Actually it wasn't wild until a few miles into the run...and then it was horrible...wet and windy!
The trail sections were very slippery...almost went over at one point.....felt a twinge as I slipped but was ok luckily!
Did most of the run on my own...club members were just a bit too slow...apart form 1 chap who's aiming for a sub 3 hour FLM.
Was glad to get home!!
Used 2 gels and drunk about 400ml of juice...not enough drink really.
Longest run I've ever done!!

Early start with 8m tready...then quick change and then slow run with SWMBO to meet club members at sports centre for the standard run.(SWMBO ran home) Turned round at the end to see if we(3of us) could find the other 4 who'd been dropped on route but to no avail.
Did last 2 miles back home on my tod.
Chilly with a slight breeze but sunny too.
Had 2 gels and some drink but not much.
Slower pace than planned....first part of club section of run was a bit on the slow side but never mind!
Recovery drink, bath, coffees and lunch...and nowt else planned for the rest of the day...apart from more food and drink that is
