Felt tired so aim was to break 90 mins as I knew my pace was down on last year when I did a pb of 84'54".

Went off too quick for first 4k and then really struggled for next 6k. Picked pace up for next 3-4 k but then started to struggle again.

Legs heavy even though I had a massage before the race.
Although I achieved my aim being so much slower than last year was disappointing.
Breezy and drizzly.
Undulating course.

Started with a 7m tready in front of MOTD...then a quick pit stop, change, drink and a gel before going out with a fellow club member for 14.60m. Then back from home, after another gel and some more drink, and on my tod I did a bit more and got to 28m in total being the longest yet!

In doing this run I also did and unofficial marathon pb in 3hrs 37'20"

Used Nuun for the first time...no cramp on the run...let's see if I suffer cramp later!

Conditions great...cool, with some sun and no wind.

Legs have 2 weeks to recover before Draycote.

Steady run. Didn't work at the speed session...except for 5/6 sprints. Easy jogging in part.
Nice conditions...dry, cool and no wind.

Left quad and left hammy a bit tight.
