Planned to do 35m but the two other guys struggled..one early on..so run cut short..I had relied on transport!! 
Very very hot!
Mainly tracks with some sand, grass and stony beach.
Did 26.27m with the guys and then back at home made up the rest on thre tready.
Left knee sore and also felt bloated as a result of all the drink!

Tough race tonight...started well with a tailwind for first mile and a half but then it was into the headwind as we turned the corner....not funny!
Turning with the wind behind at about half way I thought I'd be able to pick up lost time but the headwind had slowed me too much...and then it was back into the headwind for the last mile and a half.
Not a pb but not bad in the circs...without the wind who knows.
Was 3rd LRR home...out of 16.

Tough!
Very hot and terrain uneven.
Ran with two other LRR guys who are doing L2B...one of whom is my marathon pace, roughly, the other is a lot slower. Stayed together and walked/rested as necessary.
Last 6.5 m on road after dropping rucksack at home...rucksack worked well..only a small one though so need to get a larger capacity one for L2B.
Had Nuun but still got cramp at 18.5 miles when going over a stile...ok after that though.
Loads of flies along the river section...horrid!
Had 4 gels.
Celebratory post run beer with the lads afterwards!!

A tough race...mixed terrrain...sand, tracks, stoney paths, woodland trails, road....with some undulations and a headwind seemingly, though obviously not...all the way round.
Struggled over first 14m but then something clicked and I started to quicken...got my race head on...and managed to pull way from another club runner I'd been running with.
Drunk 500ml of Nuun pre race and then another 400ml during the first 10miles. Then relied on gels and isotonic drinks..two 330mls..again with a nuun tablet mixed in.
Time would have been a pb but isn't as I stopped my watch a couple of times to tighten my bumbag and when having a loo stop....time recorded though was the running time.
Felt fine at the end...no cramp and legs not too sore.
