Recovery run after Scores route last night...legs tight and sore. Meant to do 4m but suffered stitch so dropped out at 2m...but not concerned at all by that.

Well that was fun!!

Ran in sections
5.38m on my own
8.30m with SWMBO
10.06m with a LRR member returning from injury
19.20m with SWMBO on bike support
7.10m on my own

Time is actual running time..doesn't inc stop times between sections.

Started cool with cloud cover but then just got hotter and hotter.

Groins bad to start with but seemed to resolve as the run progressed.
No cramp..and still none

Temp section felt good...felt sore groin and back towards the end though.

Easy but heavy legged run to the sports centre...felt tired but when the LRR run began after a 1/2m I felt good and was able to do a tempo run...with a strong headwind along the sea wall to battle against.

Wow that was tough today

Very hot but with a strong breeze too.

Did run in 4 sections so I could change, take comfort breaks and generally treat the run like an ultra. Time recorded above is total running/walking time...doesn't include breaks.

Did first 10 with a LRR lady..when the conditions were at their best..and next 11 with SWMBO both of which meant I was prevented from going too fast. Had a fall in the wood at around 16m...no damage done and can't blame Trin this time

The next 14 plus I ran with SWMBO on bike support which saved me carrying too much - bonus. Grabbed a Mr Whippy on the seafront at around 31m. The last few miles I managed on my own!

Had no breakfast as usual...half a banana at break one and the other half at break two. Took 3 gels, drank 3 isotonic drinks with Nuun in and 1.5 bottles of water. (500ml each)

Time for a cold bath...may even grab a bite to eat!!

Not a bad effort overall.
