what's wrong with carrying them in your hand?? I find it strangely "comforting" to squeeze to something while running. Maybe "comforting" is the wrong word to describe it but there.......

Is the world such a bad place now that you all have to lock your door behind you?

I don't bother locking mine. Either I am too honest and trusting or a fool

I've stayed in houses which did not actually have locks at all, just very small communities where everyone knows each other. Never found such a place in the UK, yet, unfortunately

My car is such a total pile of pants that i always leave the keys in it in the vain hope that someone will nick it two years now and all i've had is a couple of notes left on the windscreen by some hardened car thieves ,and i quote" in your dreams knobhead!"

I was on my long run a couple of weeks ago and bumped into one the the other guys from my club. He'd ran 12 miles, which was 2x6mile loop and had lost his car keys. He was walking round the 6mile loop again to find his keys.

I bumped into him the next week and he hadn't found his keys at all, so had to walk home. It's at least a couple of miles to his house, so he covered more than 20miles that day.

LOL! That's the funniest thing I've heard all day. Obviously the thieves round your way are connoisseurs! Maybe if you took the keys out, and put in a high-quality alarm, immobiliser & spike trap they would have a go just for the challenge?
