Im thinking of buying some nike pro core base layer tops and was just wondering if they are very tight fitting, i dont like my clothes baggy im usually a small but dont know if that will be too tight if you see what i mean?
Any one bought and are they any good at keeping out the cold?

I have a 36/38" chest, and a small. It's really really tight. Very tight. Good though. I'd say try them on, if I had I'd have gotten a medium.

I'd say tight. If your not wanting too tight then ronhill trackster are good. I have Nike tights and although they are tight, they feel good. It depends a lot on how self conscious you are, but loads of people wear them, and they make a huge huge difference in the cold.

I've got a few compression tops that I wear boxing sometimes but when ever I run in them I get terrible chaffing so have opted for proper running kit that is tight-ish but still allows to breathe and vent. The compression tops are great for not sweating though, it just evaporates.

The first time I ever tried on a compression top I was in a sports store in America, I put it on and looked in the mirror and I thought the T-shirt had some weird padding around the waist so I took it off and tried another which was the same.

It turns out it was me causing the "padding" I was very shocked as I had a very flat stomach at the time and I'd never seen love handles before in a mirror. My friend and wife thought it was funny as hell. You've been warned.

compression tops are very tight. Like poster above, i may well have gotten a large (I am medium) as they are extremely tight but hey - that's what compression means, eh?
I have running tights and they are snug (nothing like the compression tightness) and I LOVE them - best winter-running investment I have EVER made...

I have a few of these, they are great for keeping you dry, I'm not sure if they keep you warm though, I wear large and am a 42" chest
