I wonder how many miles you could do in their technical jogging shoes? If it is over 60 they might work out cheaper than my kayano's.

It's good quality wicking kit everest... I topped up with a short sleeve top, tights and socks this time. I've bought quite a lot of running gear from Aldi in the past and no complaints.

Fantastic gear, highly recommended. Got socks (v comfy), lycra shorts (amazingly comfy) and tights (won't know til tomorrow). Sizes can be a bit big (I'm a Nike large, but Aldi medium) but for the prices complete and total bargains.

tried out the socks, very good, and tracksters also good if a little snug when putting them on around the calf. have also the lycra shorts for when it is a bit warmer. bought a vest (large) but it is too big (and i am at least a large t-shirt!) which will have to go back.
couldn't see any willy warmers though, trinity.

Bryn..

Sign up for their newsletter at http://uk.aldi.com/ and then you'll know a few days in advance of what they are going to stock.

You'll then have to get yourself down to the shop first thing on that day coz they usually sell out fast

Unfortunately not... he still says he'd like to but has trouble with the 'getting his kit on and out the door' thing

I'm not going to force him because he's quite active in other ways and I'm sure he'll run when he's motivated enough.

Last monday Lidl had a load of running gear, give them a try, they may have something left on the shelf.

Aldi do their running stuff twice a year. I think it's due again in September.
