Been to Aldi...bought a load of socks, a running top and a waterproof top...excellent!
Bound to be able to run faster this summer now.......

I popped out of work for half an hour this morning to get to Aldi for 9am. Got there just after 9 and the fr end of the shop was swarming with runners eagerly grabbing armfuls of gear! I picked up 2 waterproof jackets, a running top, 3 pairs of shorts, a pair of longs and 3 pairs of socks all for the sum of £41.00!!! Just out of interest I called back in there at 3pm and the whole lot had been snapped up! They are major step up from my regular Umbro gear that I usually run in. I'm well chuffed with this lot - thanks for the tip-off whoever it was that posted details of the sale.

Yes got back on Tuesday - it was absolutely beautiful we were staying at Loch Insh in the Cairngorm National Park. I managed a bit of off road running. |
