Talking of shocking with that outfit your wearing you won't need any gloves, mind you it could work as a ploy to run freely without anyone coming near you, infact you could chase all the hoodies

Do you wear a long sleeved top? Could you pull your sleeves down and hold them from the inside until your hands warm up.

Cheers Jason.

17 Posts to get to a sensible answer.......

I really should be more choosey about the company I keep online................

My £4.99 from Lidl long sleeve top has Thumb holes to hold the sleeves over your hands.

I think I might still need gloves though.

Nike do special tops with holes in them for your thumbs and I've got a Brooks Vapour Hoody that you can fold over your hands until they warm up. Otherwise check out your local running or walking shop for a pair of technical gloves.

What's wrong with Runnersworld???

Just had a quick look at the runners world forum...

Nah.

All looks a bit too serious for me. There's no "Off Topic" forum for a start, meaning I'd just have to hijack someone's longterm heartrate monitor review thread to talk about last night's Emmerdale. Can't imagine picking up tips about how to incorporate cider drinking into my training or just how much Haribo is too much either over there.

Does it work like the top of those plastic bank bags where they fold over themselves?

Jason, the answer to the Cider question is 'with great care' and the Haribo question is ' there is not one'

There are loads of running gloves around Steve...

These are nice, but pricey http://www.upandrunning.co.uk/websal...978003&catid=3

These are cheaper, but the colours are not very manly, if you know what I mean http://www.upandrunning.co.uk/websal...8005&catid=428

These are a bit more sensible http://www.upandrunning.co.uk/websal...9019&catid=428
