The wearing of shorts over the tights/leggings makes people look like extras out of "FAME" (I wanna live forever...)

yeh, tights for me every run so far this year...
decathlon do a cracking range and dead cheap too.
3/4 tights for cool days and i sometimes wear a pair of anti-embolism stockings, post-run, that my missus wore in hospital after having a caesarian (spl?) (washed of course  ).
i'm too old to worry what people think...if it works for me then i'll do it, including forever massaging my lower legs at work

What kind of running are you people doing to require all this running apparel? I wear a a pair of Ron Hill pants and long sleeve tee whatever the weather. If it is cold I put an extra t-shirt on top. Why would one need anything more than this? Do tights make you run faster?

And Karlos, anti-embolism stockings? Isn't that going a bit far?
