Waterproof enough to keep the sweat in, I should think :-)

Sorry, I don't have anything useful to say, except that generally the kit I have bought from Aldi and Lidl has been absolutely fine

Aldi running gear day has arrived!

I'm off down there soon to look at the waterproof/windproof jackets, hats and gloves! They have a lot of hi-viz gear this time, as well.

Nice... they had no waterproof jackets to fit me only large and they were toooo small!

So opted for a shower proof luminous jacket 9.99, cycling gloves 4.99 (did you get the same?) and a base layer set 9.99 happy with them all. Gloves are well warm.... :-)

I got the little thin running gloves. I already have cycling gloves. Reason I bought the hat and the gloves is I need something lightweight to stuff in a tiny pocket of my Camelbak for my ultra next weekend. Bought the jacket for the race too.

Happy to report I got the mens jacket (the 2 coloured one) had to get a size bigger than usual. It looks good, will be ideal. I also got the long sleeved running top, and 2 pairs of ergonomic socks. Got the base layers last time, very good, and always get their gloves.

How are the compression layers? My baseline is Underarmour and I'm happy to pay extra for that sort of quality.

Is the Aldi gear in any way comparable?

Great!

I only have black gear so now need to broaden my clothing horizons with high viz neons.
