I had a great day, thanks Dave, i wasnt sure on the position of the start of the race though, but i pushed myself to the limit and thats what i wanted, to come away knowing i couldnt have done much better.

If anyone of you are interested, im doing a charity 5km for St Lukes Hospice, at Gloucester park Basildon sep 16th 11.30 start. I did this last year which was its first one and was really impressed how organised it was and fun. If anyone wants to go let me know ill get the phone no for you.H.

Done this again this year, great turn out, saw Dave and Hot Foot!

This is such a good race and at the end there were some stalls to look at which mostly sold cakes. I bought one, yum. I also saw a stall called "Twinkle Toes" I did take a picture on my phone but have had some trouble getting it down loaded, so I will leave it to your imagination as to what you think it might look like, it won't take much...

I ran the distance with my Dad and some other family members also took part.

Enjoyed running the 10k yesterday.

Didn`t run very fast but I was just glad that nothing hurt, another injury out of the way I hope.

Enjoyed a chat with TT and Hot Foot, before and after the race, which was nice.....

I nearly took a picture of the Twinkle Toes stall myself TT............

And I went home without being tempted by the cakes or the beer..........
