Don't worry about it... (easy to say I know) it's probably just pre-marathon stuff, which is normal.

It used to happen to me.... I'd do loads of miles in training following a schedule, 18's, 20's, 22 miles...no problem, except tiredness. Then just get to the taper stage and the niggles start... little aches and pains here and there, which you magnify in your mind until you're full of doubts about how well you'll be able to race.

You don't need to do much now anyway...just a few easy runs to keep ticking over. Next week...even less, so get yourself a good massage or two if you can... and think positive

Just purring along nicely. I have had bad sciatica, a sore throat, lots of aches and pains this week, so I have rested and not run at all. Hopefully it might all come together Sunday.

I dreamt last night that it took me an hour and a half to finish, and almost everyone had gone home, when asked 'what took me so long'? I said 'I didn't realise what the time was'

Think I am really cracking up now!

Well I'm planning a no run week next week...just hope there are people there at the end of FLM for me other than the organisers packing up!

Well have a good 'un and report back next week.
Don't work too hard tonight!

Thanks Steve, I'm sure you will do fine, you have certainly put the training in.
Change of plans, just had a call to say my horse is ill, I have had him 28 years and he had had co-ordination problems this week, not sure how things are going to go now....really worried, bet I get stuck in all the traffic getting home.

Good luck next week.
