So, I've just been referred for physio... which is what I've had anyway

just back from a luvly run...

despite choking, not once but twice on flies that decided to dive into my throat (and I'm vegetarian too!) I ran 14 miles in a rather respectable 1.53

Good run Trinity.

Don`t feel guilty about the insects.

Suicidal dive bombing flies are impossible to avoid when they are determined to die...

Ran at silverstone on Sunday. We had Strong winds all the way round,Hail and snow aswel as a bit of sunshine!
Enjoyed the race and got a new P.B. 1:31:41
Can't help but wonder what might have been in better conditions. But thats what makes running enjoyable. You never know what to expect.
3 miles on the day before so 38 miles in total this week.

He made his self look like a right ******.
I wonder whether he would have attempted that if it was John Terry in front of him?

Frank don't deserve that kind of treatment either.

Thanks,It was a good race to take part in.

Of course when he was at our place FF was never so big!

Anyway back to the thread....

I did about 19.25m in the gales on Sunday...a bit less than planned but the wind made it feel further! Legs were a bit sore but after a rest on Monday I did 2 5m treadmill sessions at pace on Tuesday and have felt fine since.
Just one more long one to go!

7 miles on the treadmill yesterday.
which included 3 x 1.5 miles fast.I was supposed to do 4 x 1.5 but was just to tired.

9.5 miles today at just short of 9 mins/mile pace.Still tired but enjoyed it.

right calf muscle has been a bit tight since the weekend so hopefully it will loosen up in time for next weekends run.

Just back from the Lisbon Half Marathon on Sunday with the guys from the local club, very pleased with a 71.15 clocking. The start was an absolute shambles, we started 250m behind the 'elite' who consisted of mainly sponsors and organisers friends who walked the whole way!!
Sprinted to get to the start line and was playing catch-up the whole way.

Legs bit stiff but back into proper training and aiming for a couple more 80 mile weeks before easing down for the big day.

Sounds as if I did well to avoid traditional British weather at the weekend???
