Yeah, my prep has gone quite well, I went on holiday to South Africa for 3 weeks so I didn't push on with my training as much as I'd have liked, but I'm ready(ish!). What about you? Are the nerves jangling yet?! I see you did a 20 miler in a really solid time, so I guess you are ready too.

I actually live at about the 11 mile point on the course so I know the pubs around there, the temptation will be strong but I suppose it'll have to wait until after!

As ready as can be, I've followed the beginners plan to the letter. Once I got to 20 miles I actually started to believe I might just get around and enjoy it at the same time. Did my last 3 miles today and (touch wood) legs felt OK so just looking forward to Sunday now.

I'm out tonight & probably Thursday for a few miles but taking it easy apart from that. I'm just hoping the rain holds off for Sunday....

Yep, warm weather training - quite the pro me (apart from the large glasses of south african vino & the great big steaks). I didn't spot any Kenyan's out training but they have lots of tortoises & they're quicker than you'd expect....
