Brings back memories Trin. There were no celebs when I ran from the green start in '95 - just O/60 men and O/50 women. Footballers, etc. were allowed in later. Two minutes or so before the start I was just emerging from the loo (the ladies loo!) jogging to the line tucking my vest back into my shorts. "Get to the front, get to the front" my Sikh mate was shouting. I did. Somewhere a ruddy great cannon went off and I was away like the clappers, leading the race for the first mile till we joined the other runners from the red and blue starts. Some of those beggars really showed me how to run, but none of the Green starters ever saw me again. Happy days!
Anyhow, good luck to you, and and any other Forum runners in London. Hope you all get the times you want and the weather is kind. I'll be glued to the telly - green with envy.
Cheers!
