Charity running for FLM

I've turned in my FLM ballot, but feel like I want to run for charity... somehow to have a more worthy goal than just my personal fitness? How do I decide who to run for?

Are there some groups that offer more support leading up to the race or make an effort to make it a team effort, rather than just individual runners? I was thinking about the guide dogs charity - has anyone run for them before? I'd appreciate any feedback. Regards, Drusy

Pick a charity that appeals to you. personal conection maybe?
Bear in mind that some of the money you raise will go towards 'admin costs'.

Steepler is right...personal connection is the best way to chose a charity. Such a choice gives you a story to tell to those from whom you seek sponsorship and makes you even more determined to succeed.
