Same here Dale. Lots of theories banging about cheque cashing, and certain dates meainig you are in, and the theory they gave me was totally wrong!

Will be looking for an alternative instead.

Got my rejection slip too but it is now going into the club ballot where my chances are good...though not guaranteed!

For those that don't know all ( I think) affiliated clubs get 2 FLM places so all the more reason to become a club member.

I was referring to the Rome marathon that Real Runners mentioned. A bit difficult to avoid cobbles in Rome

Anyway, back to London, I got my acceptance mag this weekend. I wish I could feel happy about it but at this rate I'll still be 'on the bench' by April

Congrats to all who are in FLM. Sadly I'm not. But I have horrible problems with sciatica so maybe it's a good thing...

I thought you might like to know I've just posted this on You Tube. The soundtrack should of course (and was going to be) Jackson Browne's Running on Empty, but Vivaldi can't sue!

I've dedicated it to Marathon Runners everywhere!

good luck with all your training...

So did I so here we go again!

3:30 my target unless I decide to help a club colleague round.

Charity this year is an easy choice...SWMBO would kill me if I didn't run for a Rheumatoid Arthritis charity..NIRAS I think.
